We. That’s us:
Susanne is a gilder. She has restored palaces in Berlin and Brandenburg, including Sanssouci Palace in Potsdam, its art gallery and Rheinsberg Palace.
In her later Berlin studio, she used traditional gilding techniques artistically, developed her own unique style and found new creative avenues.
Today, she designs and creates furniture, wall objects and sculptures that combine traditional craftsmanship, elegance and aesthetic sophistication. She is the woman behind Rosenobelholz.
Matz: a wood enthusiast, furniture designer and wood sculptor. He seems to be related to trees by blood; Matz has been designing and building objects from solid wood for many years. He loves the symbiosis of furniture, art and craftsmanship. His years in Spain influenced his understanding of form, colour, light and shadow. Matz is the man behind Rosenobelholz.
